PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE PERSONAL DATA
OF JOB APPLICANTS
1. DATA CONTROLLER

UAB “Tagoo Group” (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is the controller of the personal data processed by it, ensuring that personal data is processed within the Company in accordance with the personal data protection requirements applicable to data controllers.

The privacy policy regarding the personal data of job applicants has been drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR). The privacy policy for job applicants provides information on the purposes of personal data processing within the Company, the conditions for its lawfulness, the personal data processed by the Company, its origin, retention periods, purposes of disclosure, the procedure for exercising data subjects’ rights, and data recipients.

2. EXERCISE OF DATA

SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS As a data subject, you have the right to contact the Company regarding matters relating to the processing of your personal data, i.e. you have the following rights:

  • the right to obtain information about the processing of data;
  • the right to access your data;
  • the right to request the rectification of data;
  • the right to request the erasure of data (‘the right to be forgotten’);
  • the right to restrict data processing;
  • the right to data portability (where data is processed by automated means);
  • the right to object to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

You have the right to contact the Company verbally or in writing, by submitting a request in person, by post or by email to info@tagoo.lt. If you exercise your rights verbally or submit a written request in person, you must verify your identity by presenting a valid identity document. Failure to do so will result in your rights not being exercised.

When submitting a written request to exercise your rights, it is recommended that you use this form.

Upon receipt of your request, the Company shall, within one (1) month of receiving the request, provide you with information regarding the actions taken in response to the request. If there is a delay in providing the information within the specified time limit, you will be informed of this, stating the reasons for the delay and the possibility of lodging a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

3. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING BY THE COMPANY AND CONDITIONS FOR LAWFUL

PROCESSING The Company processes your personal data for the following purpose: the selection of employees for a position prior to the conclusion of an employment contract.

Legal basis for the processing of an employee’s personal data: the Company’s legitimate interest in selecting the most suitable candidate (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of the GDPR).

4. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY THE COMPANY AND THE RETENTION PERIOD

Categories of personal data processed: first name, surname, date of birth, residential address, email address, mobile or landline telephone number; information on the job applicant’s work experience (educational institution, period of study, education and/or qualifications obtained); information on professional development (training courses attended, certificates obtained); information regarding language proficiency, IT skills, driving skills, other competencies, and any other information provided in the CV, cover letter or other application documents; recommendations and references from former employers: persons recommending the candidate or providing a reference, their contact details, and the content of the recommendation or reference. This personal data may only be collected from the current employer with the candidate’s consent.

The Company processes personal data that you provide by post, registered post, email, fax, telephone, or by visiting the Company’s registered office in person, as well as via online job search platforms, by submitting this information to a company providing job search, recruitment and/or intermediary services (employment agency, etc.).

Retention period for candidates’ personal data: until the end of the selection process, and, with the candidate’s written consent to be included in the candidate database, for 1 year after the end of the selection process.

5. FINAL PROVISIONS

The Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy for the personal data of candidates, therefore please check whether the Privacy Policy for Job Applicants has changed and familiarise yourself with any amended and/or new provisions of the privacy policy.

The Privacy Policy for Job Applicants was approved on 28 January 2025.
